The family unit is clearly under assault by Satan. It could also be called the mountain of social justice because the true greatest social injustice we currently face is that the hearts of fathers are not turned toward their children and the hearts of the children are not turned towards their fathers. Families are experiencing breakdown, absent fatherhood, rejection, abandonment, sexual perversions, anger, violence etc. Many psychological and emotional illnesses today relate to family breakdown. Disintegration of family causes disintegration of society.
Principality/who Rules the Mountain of Family?
The seventh nation listed in Deuteronomy 7 is the Jebusite nation. The name Jebusite means “a place trodden down, rejection.” That’s the spirit on the mountain of family that must be dispossessed. The Jebusites - principality who sits atop the mountain of family is Baal. He and Jezebel are very similar, but Baal is more encompassing. Its manifestation is essentially the opposite of the love described in 1 Corinthians 13. That kind of love acts as glue for marriages and for family.
A Jebusite will take advantage of every opening to sow rejection.
Prayers points
Family Unity. It is a treasure to us all, and something very precious to each of us. The Lord blesses us with family members to lead, counsel, and love and take care of, and in exchange, our family does the same for us.
Malachi 1:6; 4:5,6 Turn the hearts of the children to their fathers. Pray that parents would hear the call of their children and vice versa.
Ephesians ch 5 & 6 Practice biblical principles for the family only! Pray that we would go back to this principles and not seek professional help first.
Pray for contentment so that parents will not seek more money while neglected the needs of their children.
